How the #Summerpelopreggos21 Hold Each Other Accountable
The Members of this supportive Tag have bonded over both prenatal milestones and Bike Bootcamps.

Moms show up for each other every single day on the Peloton Leaderboard. These women proudly identify themselves with Tags such as #BadMomsClub, #PelotonTeacherMoms and #WorkingMomsOfPeloton. They host swarms, give high fives and connect in small, but supportive, social groups. There is literally a Tag for everyone, enabling women from all over the world to bond over their common interests.
These celebratory Tag groups make up a large portion of our community. Not only do Members consistently show up to cheer each other on during live rides, but they also support each other virtually on and off the Bike. #Summerpelopreggos21 is just one of these many diverse Tags, created to honor and celebrate moms due in the summer of 2021 during their prenatal fitness journey.
Here, meet the inspirational #Summerpelopreggos21 crew.
How It Started
Member Paige D. started #Summerpelopreggos21 shortly after she learned she was pregnant. The mom-to-be joined several Peloton mom Facebook groups in her first trimester, but couldn't find a prenatal accountability group to help her stay motivated. So she decided to launch one herself. The group consists entirely of Members due in June or July 2021 and focuses on promoting fitness, self-care, and mental health and wellness.
How It's Going
What began as one woman's quest to find a workout buddy has since evolved into a Tag with around 46 Members. Paige D. says, “Throughout my pregnancy, and as part of this group, I learned how important it is to take time for yourself. I want to be an example for my daughter and show her that self-care is number one, and your relationship with yourself is the most important one you have. The time we take for ourselves as moms or moms-to-be is not selfish. It is necessary!”
Melanie L. says, “This is exactly what I love about Peloton. There are hundreds of communities that you can join and relate to. In my current season of life, #Summerpelopreggos21 is serving such a great purpose to me. It is wonderful to connect with other women who are pregnant. We build each other up and let each other know when it is time to give ourselves grace. I cannot wait to be mamas with newborns working towards our new goals together!”
The Group's Camaraderie Keeps Them Coming Back
Emily F. says, “It's helpful being a part of a group of like-minded individuals who put their health first. I think, as women and mothers, a lot of people tend to put their physical and mental health on the back burner. Being a part of this group has shown me that showing up for yourself only makes you stronger. Taking time for yourself is important. I also want to set that example for my children, being healthy and taking care of yourself. I've learned over the years that health is wealth. This rings especially true during the pandemic we've been living through.”
They Talk About Everything From Baby Bumps to Bike Bootcamps
Taylor G. says, “This group has impacted me outside of Peloton because the ladies ask for real-life advice. We recently had a post on what to pack in your hospital bag. I found that so helpful. As a first-time mom, sometimes it's hard figuring out where to start. There have also been other posts on comfy maternity clothes and ways to adjust the Bike once your belly starts getting in the way.”
Catherine H. says, “I've enjoyed bonding with other first-time moms over our shared milestones, fears and excitement. And the experienced moms in the group have provided invaluable advice that's helped me feel less overwhelmed.”
They Empower Each Other on the Journey to Motherhood
Erica C. says, “This group has taught me to challenge what society has set as limitations. It's helped me to see pregnancy as a strength. More than anything, it has eased my mind about being a first-time mom. All my doubts and insecurities about my abilities have been laid to rest because I've learned that, while each of us is so different, we all have doubts and guilt and that's okay. I feel capable of being a mom now. I know the questions I have are valid and also on somebody else's mind too. I don't have to know it all. It's okay to take it day-by-day, and I'm in the company of strong women who have supported my journey from day one.”

Paige D., who first created the Tag, encourages other pregnant women to look for their group on social media, and if they don't see what they're looking for, start a new support group themselves. “Go for it!” she says. “Start that community. There are so many other women in the same boat as you looking for connection and friendship!”
