MUSIC FEATURES
Track Love
Member Fay H. loves our Track Love feature, which enables you to create a playlist from your favorite music in Peloton classes on Spotify or Apple Music: “ It's a great way to build a playlist with new artists and genres I wouldn't have discovered off the bike. I'm also enjoying hitting 'like' on all of my favourite songs, throwbacks I'd forgotten about, and the latest new releases.”
class Playlist Preview
Member Jessica G. loves that you can preview a class’ playlist before you take the class, to make sure she chooses a class that matches her mood: “It's like looking at a mix-tape made for you.”
custom class audio
Member Alyssa R’s favorite Peloton feature is custom audio, which allows you to adjust the class audio for either more music volume or more instructor volume: “It’s helpful when I really love the playlist and want to get lost in the music without having the instruction dominate the session. Conversely, I like using “More Instructor” when I love the instructor but the playlist only has one or two songs I like and I don’t care to hear the music as much. I do that more frequently with cool downs when the music is too slow or not my taste, and I prefer to focus on the coaching.”
COMMUNITY FEATURES
Tags
Member Lisa L. enjoys our Tags feature, because she gets a sense of community on the Leaderboard, even if she’s never met them before: “One of my Tags is #WorkingMomsOfPeloton, and I love when I hop on a ride at 5 AM and I can see there are other moms working just as hard as me before we start the day. As a mom, sometimes this is the only time of day I get to myself and I know that staying fit and mentally healthy helps me be the best Mom I can be. Peloton and the community we have created holds me accountable every day, and that is priceless.”
SHARING WORKOUTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Member Shannon G. loves being able to share a class she just completed, along with her stats, directly from the Peloton App to her Instagram Story: “When I share classes, I love getting reactions/comments from my friends which allow us to swap class & instructor recommendations. It's also great to get questions from friends interested in getting a Peloton and sharing with them why I love this community so much.”
HIGH FIVES
Member Madeline T’s favorite feature is giving high fives! “I usually high five my friends when we first get into the ride so they know I'm there and supporting them, but then I also high five anyone around me on the leaderboard. I hope it gives them an extra boost of confidence and encouragement like it does when I see that a stranger high fives me during my rides.”
PERFORMANCE FEATURES
Post-Class Metrics
Member Travis J. loves Peloton’s post-class metrics: “Suffice to say, the Workout Details is the first place I go after every workout. I check my metrics and smile when I see how much the instructors helped me push myself. I get a thrill when I've clocked a new personal record and love scanning the graphs to see another representation of my ride. The achievement badges keep me motivated and I gladly pay it forward with high fives in my next workout. I'm a financial analyst, so seeing visualizations and data for my fitness is totally my jam.”
AUTO-FOLLOW RESISTANCE
Member Penny N, who owns a Bike+, loves the Auto-Follow resistance feature: “Something that I’ve struggled with in the past was staying focused during class when it came to increasing the resistance. Whenever it was time to add it on, It would often break my concentration. It made me hyper aware of how challenging the class was getting and started thoughts of self-doubt…not with Auto-Follow! Now I can redirect my focus on my form, what my body is telling me, and my breathing. It allows me to just close my eyes, calm my racing thoughts and get just lost in the music.”
CHALLENGES and badges
Member Alyssa M. found a favorite feature in Peloton’s challenges and badges: “They motivate me to be consistent with my workouts. The Winter Launch challenge, monthly activity challenges, and flash challenges are all a big part of why Peloton is the only workout routine I’ve ever committed to for this long. It’s so rewarding to see those cute little badges on my profile knowing I’ve worked hard to earn them. POWER ZONE BAR
Member Jessica H. doesn’t take any Peloton cycling class without her favorite Power Zone bar on the screen, a color-coded bar that helps keep her within a specific output range for each of the 7 zones in Power Zone Training, based on the results of her FTP test: “ I use the Power Zone bar to hold me accountable during all my rides, not just the Power Zone rides. It gives me the visual cues I need to know if I am pushing myself to the max. I absolutely love that it is individualized to my personal fitness levels rather than setting generic goals.” Learn more about Power Zone training.
Features to Customize Your Experience
STACKS
Member Lolita C. absolutely loves Peloton’s Stacks feature: “It has made my workouts that more efficient. I usually take a strength class and then cool down after cycling in the morning, or yoga followed by meditation at the end of the day so it’s just made it much more convenient to plan in advance and seamlessly go from class to class.”
Filtering the on-demand library
Member Kat D. loves filtering to quickly find a class that matches her needs, which can fluctuate as a mom with a limited amount of time to spare: “Some days I just want to rage it out and be pushed. I choose who I want to work with, the music I’m listening to, the time I have to spare, and the discipline that suits my needs each day. The filters help avoid aimless scrolling and get me right to the classes I want so I have more time to work out.”
peloton ON ANY DEVICE
Member Monique J. and family love taking classes on their living room TV: “The ability to stream my workout to my living room TV using Chromecast or use the Peloton app from my TV has made working out indoors so much easier. When it’s too hot or too cold outside to workout in the garage, I can just grab my weights and bring them in the living room to get my workout in. FILTERING THE LEADERBOARD
Member Ginny C. enjoys filtering the Leaderboard by her Tag, so she's only riding with other pregnant Members on the Leaderboard: “Having the #Pelopreggos tag has helped me throughout my pregnancy with putting myself next to other women physically going through the same things as I am. Every class, I’ve set a goal for myself to end up in the top half of the Tag and it’s been an awesome and safe way to motivate myself.”
SKIP INTRO
Member Carol M. loves the ability to skip a class’ introduction and get right to work: “Waking up at 4 AM to squeeze in my workout before work, every minute counts. That is why I love the new “skip intro” feature. It lets me hop on and get started.”
