How were you first introduced to Peloton?

I'd first heard about Peloton over a year ago. I'd taken a live class in the studio but didn't purchase the bike until this past May when my doctor told me I'd be off running for a month due to an injury. It was the best impulse-purchase I've ever made in my life.

What excites you the most about your Peloton experience?

The freedom to work out whenever I want, for however long I want. Before Peloton, I was tied to when I could get outside for at least an hour, or when I could get to the gym, or the nights I didn't have my daughter as a single dad. Now? 4 AM? I can ride for two hours before she wakes up. 3 PM before a 3:45 conference call? Perfect for a ride. Can't sleep at 1 AM? Let's do a class on-demand. The possibilities are completely endless. For someone who uses exercise to make the most of his ADHD, this bike is a gift from the universe.

Can you describe how the class experience makes you feel?

Competing in a live class is exactly like being in the studio. The shoutouts from the instructor always make me smile, but more importantly, knowing they can see my progress means no slacking off, ever. Even in an on-demand class, I know I can compete against my friends who have taken the class already, and that spirit of competition pushes me to constantly improve.

How has Peloton made a difference in your overall lifestyle?

Peloton has become my go-to stress buster and brain booster. Additionally, I competed in the Atlantic City Half Ironman this past September and knocked 34 minutes off my time compared to last year. I'm positive that it had a ton to do with the bike.

How would you describe the Peloton community?

I've never found a more dedicated, caring community before in my life. I've made some great new friends, and it's always fun to connect with people who "get you."
