Community is at the heart of Peloton and now we’re making it even easier for you to bring your friends and family together through the Peloton App. In September 2024, we launched the ability to create your own invite-only teams of up to 100 friends, set shared goals, and participate in challenges. Now, we’re giving you even more ways to connect with other Peloton Members, with the ability to build teams of up to 50,000 people, discover and search for new teams to join, and tools to interact with and encourage each other.

This is another step toward building out fitness communities on Peloton and we can’t wait to share even more features with you soon. Learn more about what you’ll find in teams and how to build and find your crew.

What are Peloton Teams and Challenges?

Teams and challenges allow you to connect with other Peloton Members directly in the Peloton App and keep each other accountable. Create a team, invite your friends, and work toward shared goals or compete against each other. You’ll also be able to see a shared Leaderboard with weekly team member stats on total time worked out, days worked out, number of workouts, and distance to help you stay motivated.

Customize Your Weekly Stats

Stay motivated and check in on your team’s progress through Weekly Stats. Team stats accumulate throughout the week and reset every Monday. Primary team administrators can pick which metric to track—total time worked out, days worked out, number of workouts, and distance—through team settings.

How to Discover a Peloton Team

Not ready to be team captain? You can still join in on the fun! Build virtual connections with other Peloton Members who share your interests or just want to reach the same goals together.

From the Community tab in the App, select Teams, toward the bottom right of your screen. Select Discover to view featured teams we think you may like, or select Search to find teams that share your interests.

Support Your Teammates Through Team Feeds

You and your team are all set to start committing to goals together, seeing each other’s progress, and cheering each other on! Team highlights are posted directly to the team feed tab, where teammates can respond through a combination of emoji reactions and text comments. Stay tuned for more ways to develop deeper relationships with team members. Who’s ready for a little friendly competition?
