Ready to give your strength workouts a major upgrade? We’ve built a new way to strength train with Peloton. According to the American College of Sports Medicine’s annual worldwide survey of fitness trends, strength training has continued to surge in popularity over the last several years. And yet, many people experience gym anxiety because they’re unsure of what to do when they get to the gym. Whether you lift at the gym or at home, Peloton Strength+ aims to take the guesswork out of strength training so you can focus on the reps and see the results.

We’ve spent the last three months testing Strength+ in beta with thousands of dedicated Peloton Members and those new to Peloton to get their feedback and make improvements. During this “testing phase,” we collected feedback from our testers to incorporate into the product launching today.

Starting today, Peloton Strength+ is now available exclusively on iOS in the US for $9.99/month. Current Peloton Members with All Access Membership, Guide, and App+ Members, can access Strength+ for free to support their fitness journey.

What is Peloton Strength+?

Peloton Strength+ is a new type of workout experience, built for strength training at the gym or at home. It’s designed to take the guesswork out of strength training so you can focus on the reps and see the results. Peloton Strength+ features self-paced, multi-week strength training programs with top Peloton strength coaches, a customizable workout generator tailored to your goals, instructional and entertaining video clips, and detailed progress tracking. You can also log the weights you’ve used and reps completed to chart your journey and celebrate your milestones.

Unlike the guided strength training workouts Peloton Members love on the Peloton App, workouts on Peloton Strength+ offer more flexibility and customization particularly when you’re training at the gym. Peloton Strength+ workouts can be built to incorporate your favorite gym equipment, such as cables, squat racks, bench presses, and free weights.

Strength+ introduces two completely new ways to strength train with us.

Join an Expert-Led Program

Follow programs led by Peloton Instructors that meet your strength goals and keep you focused on proper form with full-screen vertical video demos and optional in-ear coaching. Choose from a variety of programs (with more to come!) focused on either endurance, hypertrophy, maximal strength, or strength and conditioning. 

  • Shred It with Rad Lopez:  This four-week program improves strength endurance with three fast-paced workouts a week. If you’re into high reps and low weight, this is for you. And get ready for burpees!

  • Ignite Your Strength with Andy Speer: If you’ve ever looked around the gym overwhelmed by the amount of equipment available, this program is for you.
    Andy will show you how to build an efficient, muscle-building workout with dumbbells, a barbell, and various machines.

  • Max Your Muscle with Assal Arian: Want to lift heavier? Assal will show you how, through this four-week program. You’ll work out five days a week using dumbbells, a barbell, landmine, pull-up bar, dip-bar, machines, and steps.

  • Pump Up Your Performance with Ben Alldis: The perfect combo of strength and conditioning, this program combines focused lifts with cardio finishers to build muscle and boost cardiovascular fitness.

  • Grind and Defined Split with Rebecca Kennedy: Rebecca will coach you to build muscle size in this one-week split. The program is designed to target every muscle group over the course of four days and be repeated for four to six weeks.

  • Pure Pump with Jermaine Johnson: This two-week program is designed to build maximal strength with a combination of dumbbells and machines. You’ll work out three days a week and then repeat the program for a total of four to six weeks.

Generate Custom Workouts

Let us develop a workout for you in seconds, based on your goals, muscle focus, how much time you have, your experience, and the equipment you have available. Once your custom workout is generated, you can swap, add, delete, or re-order any movement. Then, get after it at your own pace.

If you took part in testing the Peloton Strength+ Beta, thank you! Your feedback has helped us make Strength+ what it is today.

If you have a Peloton All Access Membership, Guide, or App+ Membership, you can access Strength+ for free by downloading the iOS app.

If you participated in the beta and do not have one of these Peloton memberships, your access to the beta app via TestFlight will end on 12/16. If you wish to continue to use Strength+, please download the public version today via the Apple App store and become a Peloton Strength+ Member!
