Lizzo Crashes Peloton Studios New York, Takes a Lizzo Ride with Lizzo Fans

We can’t really put the full Lizzo experience into words, but we’re gonna try.

When Members walked into Peloton Studios New York, they were excited to take a live, 2-for-1 Lizzo Ride with instructors Robin Arzón and Jess Sims. But they had no idea they were about to be in class with Lizzo herself…in the flesh. Lizzo (who is a passionate Peloton Member herself!) and her dancers, the Big Grrrls, stopped by to celebrate the drop of Lizzo’s new album “Special,” and joined the ride live and in person to sweat it out to a playlist packed top-to-bottom with Lizzo’s hits. The riders in the studio were needless to say, *juiced* about the surprise appearance and the chance to experience the empowerment of Lizzo’s iconic music fused with the motivation of a Peloton class. With tens of thousands of Members on the leaderboard watching Lizzo's grand entrance, Peloton's servers were temporarily overwhelmed, but the energy on the Leaderboard is HOT now--systems are back up and Members are swarming the class on demand, as well as the rest of the day's lineup of Lizzo classes.

Jess, Robin, and Lizzo had a special message for Members who were unable to complete the class:

In addition to the Peloton cycling class, the new drop of Lizzo Artist Series classes include running, yoga, and strength classes featuring Lizzo’s latest and greatest music. Peloton Members can tune in for all the classes in the Lizzo Artist Series and see the schedule. If you’re not yet a Peloton Member, you can check out the classes via a free 30-day trial of our digital app.
