Considering purchasing a Peloton Tread? If so, you might be wondering if this investment in your health is worth the money. Our community says yes: Not only will you have access to hikes, walks, and runs right in your basement or living room, but you'll also be able to replace personal training sessions with live classes and run year-round, regardless of the weather outside. Here, seven Peloton Members share some of the countless ways the Tread has changed their lives for the better.
Stay Motivated With World-Class Instructors
“I love this treadmill. Not all treadmills are created equal, and the Peloton Tread classes are a game changer. The time flies by and always keeps me motivated!”—Wendy B., Tennessee
Get Stronger Faster With the Peloton Tread
“I love the Tread so much, even though I am much better on my Peloton Bike+. I had my ankle fused and, honestly, I hadn't done much hiking or jogging. I am quickly learning that I needed the push from classes to get better and to make my ankle stronger. The classes go so fast, and I've been making so much progress! I know that it is an investment to have both the Bike and Tread, but I got rid of my gym membership, so that helps. I just wish I would have gotten it sooner.”—Kim W., Minnesota
Take Care of Your Body
“I used to run two to three days a week outside or on the treadmill at the gym. It was too hard on my knees and joints. I'd always be hurting or injured. I run on my Peloton Tread every day for six, eight or 12 miles now.” —John M., Milwaukee
Embrace Your Inner Runner (Even if You Hate Running!)
“I wasn't a runner before, but I was a cyclist, mountain biker, and lifter for almost 10 years. I never cared for running until I fell in love when I tried a few Peloton Tread classes on a hotel gym treadmill while I was on vacation. I've been a runner ever since and got the Tread two months later. It's worth it if classes hooked you as much as they hooked me.”—M. Javier S., California
Say Goodbye to Expensive Childcare at the Gym
“I used to struggle to get two kids to childcare at the gym or get my outside run in based on my fiancé's schedule. Then there were the dreaded double-stroller runs... These roadblocks made it challenging for me to train. My Peloton Tread came shortly before my first marathon, and it really helped me ramp things up. On top of that, I was really sick before the big event and learned that baby number three was on the way. All that being said, I am becoming stronger and much faster than with my past two pregnancies. Sometimes it's hard to get started, but the work totally pays off.”—Nicole V., Washington
Variety Really Is the Spice of Life
“I love having both the Peloton Bike and Peloton Tread so much. I am a runner and got the Bike first to use on bad weather days. That was a year ago. I just got the Tread and couldn't be happier. Running, walking, and Tread Bootcamps are all so fun. There are so many options. It's like being a kid in a candy store!”—Jaye B., New York
Access Personal Training Programs Without the Personal Trainer Price Tag
“I'm on week 5 of the You Can Run Program. You jog/run/walk at your own pace for 20-minute classes the first four weeks and 30-minute classes the second four weeks. You can jog the whole time if you want, but it's definitely worth it for learning techniques and running form. You can always stack it with a 10-minute warm-up run and a 10-minute cool down. There are also some 10-minute extra-mile classes. Have fun!”—Lisa P., North Carolina
