    Meditation can be done anywhere, not just in a workout studio or the home. You can meditate in bed, at the park, or even during a break at work. Meditation primarily involves breathing and paying attention to your body and mind. When you meditate, you’ll want to breathe deeply and exhale slowly, letting your thoughts flow without resistance. As you advance in your meditation practice, creating a sense of calm in your day will become easier.

    Meditation, even in small amounts, has been shown to affect the mind and body positively. You don’t have to meditate long to find the benefits of this highly recommended practice. Even 5-, 10-, or 20-minute intervals can help you find calmness, decrease your anxiety, and boost your mood throughout the day.

    You don’t need any equipment for meditation, but finding a comfortable and quiet place to practice meditation can be beneficial, especially for beginners. Other ways to enhance your meditation experience include incorporating calming sounds or music, pillows, yoga mats, and comfortable clothing.

    You can meditate at any time of the day. However, starting the day with meditation can help with focus and concentration, and ending the day with meditation can help decrease stress and improve your sleep.
