Shop Peloton
Ready to reach your goals? There’s a new way for you to track them. You can now download the Peloton Watch App on any Android watch device running WearOS 3 or higher.
By downloading The Peloton Watch App for Android, you’ll be able to use your watch as a heart rate monitor during any type of workout on the Peloton App or Peloton hardware, including the Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, Guide, or Row.
Better yet, connecting your Android watch to Peloton makes it even easier to track your performance and log activity in the Peloton App.
How It Works
After you’ve downloaded the Peloton App on your phone and watch (more on exactly how to do that, below!) you’re ready to start tracking your fitness with even more accuracy.
You’ll be able to view your heart rate in real-time on your watch face.
Using your Android watch running WearOS 3 or higher as a heart rate monitor also means you’ll get your Strive Score after your workout ends. Peloton’s Strive Score is calculated based on how much time you spend in each heart rate zone. Your Strive Score is just another way to track the amount of work you’re putting in. Because it’s calculated using your heart rate, it’s easy to compare metrics from one type of workout to another—from cycling to running to yoga.
How to Set It Up
To start using your Android watch as a heart rate monitor when taking Peloton classes through the App or on a Bike, Bike+, Tread, Guide, or Row, first ensure that the Peloton App is installed on your phone. Then, follow these simple steps to get connected and start moving!
Step 1
Open the Peloton App on your phone and navigate to your profile. Tap the three lines in the top right corner and click ‘add-ons.’ Select ‘Wear OS’ and follow the steps to download the Peloton Watch App.
Step 2
Start a workout on your Peloton equipment or through the mobile App, then open the Peloton Watch App on your watch.
Step 3
You’ll be prompted to connect to the workout you just began. Tap ‘Connect.’
Step 4
You’re all set to start using your Android watch as a heart rate monitor while in class!
